For our Christmas project this year and to continue our FAVE 5 support efforts, we would like to adopt teachers in our church family who teach in Jackson Public Schools and Hinds County Schools. The teachers are Deborah Asbill, Claire Crider, Tim Douglas, and Sharon Rainey,.
Each child has been given a wish list questionnaire asking about four items: something the child wants, something for the child to wear; something the child needs, and something for the child to read. Instead of a personal wish list, we will be purchasing specific classroom items for Tim Douglas’ math students at Siwell Middle School.
Important dates
Sunday, November 10 and 17, we will have the wish lists displayed for members to choose their child and/or wish list item for Tim Douglas.
Sunday, December 8, deadline for monetary donations.
Wednesday, December 11; deadline to have the items gift wrapped and returned to the Family Center, room 2. Please include your child's name and ID# on the gifts.
Saturday, December 14, 9-11a; Recipient’s families are invited to the Family Center to share breakfast with our church family and to pick up gifts.
